Where is BBH Located?

We cannot disclose our exact address to protect our residents, but we may disclose any information at time of appointment. We are very close to the Ballet.

Are you directly affiliated with CPYB?

No, they offer direct housing and meal plans through Dickinson College. We are a private family home continuing the tradition of boarding dancers for nearly 20 years.

Where do residents store their food?

All residents are provided with pantry space and their own mini fridge in the kitchen.

What do we do about food?

Accepted Answer

Because we've learned that dancers often have special diets, they are in charge of food for themselves. Some dancers subscribe to grocery story delivery services from Walmart etc. Given plenty of notice we sometimes make group excursions to stores. We do have a shared kitchen and food is often shared.

What do I need to bring for my child?

Anything that will make them comfortable! Each room is equipped with a bed (with pillows), desk, and closet space. The house does have some extra towels and bed linens, but this is not always guarantied.

The Ballet Boarding house is gender inclusive and co-ed. However, we do keep roommates in the triple and double rooms the same gender for comfort.
